Yep 4 days a. .. while the most recent Pirates of the Caribbean film, a long horizontal strip of pixels flickered then black. Permanent. I loved the TV to this point and are very careful to leave to and / or pause the images were too long. Get the exact model allows me to this point, since even in the last 4 full days. I'm waiting to see how Amazon handles this situation and I will update my review / post accordingly. Wish me luck, Amazon is usually very.

I have this TV, especially for games and there is no motion blur that I noticed. That's pretty much everything I lead with this TV and highly successful. The PS3 with an HDMI cable is absolutely breathtaking, the 360 with the standard component cable is also great and the Wii, at least it seems a bit 'better, even if the HD really shows the limits of the system.

TV is big, 52 inches is huge. Motionflow seemed very strange, but initially I was accustomed to and prefer movies. The best way I can describe it is like when you go Motionflow and focuses on a particular thing, such as traffic sign, or a car for a while '. That the object is to stay focused despite clear how fast it moves, while all around becomes blurry. Motionflow achieves the same effect. It focuses on the construction of the scene and keeps it strong, while everything else moves around it. Motionflow is a little difference from the eye to one aspect. The eye continues to focus on what is at the center of your vision. Motionflow maintains a strong scene object as it moves across the screen. The difference (in the center of attention thing is not the center of the visual field) may be initially a bit 'annoying.

Panasonic S1 is a TV series quite well generally. the only thing that I'm not a big fan of anti-glare screen. anti-reflection is as safe as less reflective then your standard glossy plasma screen, but the glossy screen gives a slightly better standard. I have this TV in a basement, and would have been better with a glossy screen. If you have a room lit moderatley, but will have a plasma, so it would be perfect for you. I can not coment on the sound that I have never herd of TV speakers I evything run directly to a home theater system. I would recommend this TV to a friend looking for a subject 40''televisive + $ 1000

Advantages: ease of installation, superb image quality, full functionality that you might think that you want.
Con: Nothing really. Typical Japanese electronics: more options, features, etc that you can count. Makes up a little 'more, but probably worth it.
