So I finally use this TV for a multi-rationality. I just replaced my G5 Mac Pro and got a PS3 Slim to the bedroom and while the PS3 before you linked to our 60 "Sony SXRD. I need a larger monitor for my Mac Pro, but also wanted a TV in the room and we were initially really go with the 24-inch Apple Cinema Display. Amazing unit, but only for the computer and you're done. That said, I turned to Sony.
The XBR9 does a good job with the blacks and colors, as if my Mac is running, and in Final Cut or iPhoto, the picture quality is great (I went from DVI to HDMI), and if I input the PS3 (HDMI) to continue all the fantastic. Thus, Games / Blu-ray and TV are great.
Although I, like other reviewers have pointed out that not XBR9 well how the XBR8 because its lowest of the series! I mean look at the price difference for the love of God So please, do not think that somehow went back to Sony in their thinking. Only 2 sets.
