At first, I would buy the PN50B550, but I found a coupon for $ 125 discount on the Internet for this TV, so I thought what the heck and bought this place. I went with plasma because I have a TV room bright enough during the day, the price was cheaper, and I wanted to be able to see the situation from the point of view, lateral and straight. This TV is absolutely wonderful and I must admit that my first HDTV, CRT was a boy up to now (I know - it took me so long?). Like many others, I researched the television is all about the Internet and Consumer Reports to help make my decision and I am very happy that I bought. Others have said that the heat of the plasma television is off, and the newer models are better. This puts a little 'heat, but I put the ceiling fan and takes care of her. I also have a home theater system when I want to sound great, but the regular players are very good for me, when you look at the lineup everyday. Football matches are awesome in HD with a powerful suite of the system. Overall this is a great TV and has two thumbs up from me.
