E 'was about 4 months since I bought this TV. I also have a Samsung LN46A650 LCD TV, which I bought from Amazon a year ago. Delivery on both was very good, even if the delivery for the Panasonic did not know too much about creating and connecting headphones. Connector label was confusing, but all together we worked out. Panasonic has vibrant deep colors, and I think the picture is slightly sharper than the Samsung. The colors of the Samsung is more realistic. Samsung has more color adjustments available including flesh tone, which offers better color rendition. Maybe I am too demanding, but Panasonic has a tendency to reproduce flesh tones, with a slight green tint in darker scenes and a tent Rose on some others. Most memorable scenes are OK, though. Samsung has much better sound. Panasonic has a feature audio cable. This may be due to the angle of the speakers and I've got a few inches from a flat wall. The viewing angle is obviously better on the Panasonic plasma. Samsung begins to wash if you get above 30 degrees away from straight viewing. A word of coution when you buy a TV. LCD sets in stores are usually willing to live. This will help viewing angle. When adjusting for washing normal viewing at home is more evident. Standard def. program seems to be something better on the Panasonic. Both are good on HD with Panasonic, maybe a little 'sharper. Both TVs are good, and when I see one I think is the best.
